East Midlands Council of Gurdwaras (EMCG) is an collective organisation of Gurdwaras in the East Midlands Area of England working together to unite the sangat of the UK to promote the Sikh Religion and to represent and deal with issues concerning the Sikh Community in the UK and the wider world.
EMCG was formed in July 2008 as the Gurdwaras of Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Loughborough and other cities came together to celebrate on a grand scale, the 300th Gurgaddi Divas of our Present & Eternal Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
